2006: Did not play.

Prep: Cardoza attended Decatur High School where he played baseball and basketball for the Bulldogs... His team qualified for the State Playoffs for the first time in 25 years when he was a sophomore, and returned to the playoffs the following two years...Was named to the 2005 Atlanta Journal-Constitution All-Area team for DeKalb.

Personal: Carlos was born on January 19, 1987 in San Juan, Puerto Rico....He is the son of Carlos Cardoza and Aida Oquendo, and he has two younger brothers, Juan and Esteban...His grandfather, Carlos, played AA baseball in Puerto Rico.
