Earned DeKalb County Player of the Year accolades after her junior season when she collected 288 kills and 135.5 blocks ... During that campaign, her Decatur High team finished as the runners-up in the GHSA’s Class AA/A final, the first public school to play for the volleyball state title in that classification ... Team made it to the Elite Eight during all four of her years ... Lettered for four years under head coach Jon Reese, and lettered for three years in basketball under former Georgia State men’s basketball head coach Carter Wilson ... Also played for the Atlanta Boom club program.

Daughter of Norman and Pearl Trimble, Michelle has an older sister (Monica, 27) ... Her mother earned Kodak All-American honors playing basketball for Wayland Baptist in 1976 ... Majoring in psychology...Michelle is also active amongst the student-athletes at Georgia State and serves as a member of the SAAC.
