Played in all but three matches on the year ... Participated in 54 sets and started one match ... Averaged over one dig per match and registered 74 digs ... Also served nine service aces and dished out five assists ... Posted a season-high 15 digs versus East Carolina on Sept. 17 ... Served four service aces against Holy Cross in the Panthers' season opener on Aug. 26.

Truett-McConnell:

Played freshman year at Truett-McConnell, a NAIA institution in Cleveland, Ga. ... Mahayag was named the Appalachian Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year and also earned first team All-Conference and All-Freshman honors ... Led the AAC in digs per set (6.5) and totaled 654 ... Broke Truett-McConnell's record for digs in a match with 41 versus Reinhardt. 

Prep:

Mahayag lettered in 2 seasons at Kennesaw Mountain High School and later lettered her last 2 years at Harrison High School. She earned 1st Team All-State honorable mentioned, All-Cobb tournament team and All-Area 1st team her junior year at Harrison and then All-Cobb tournament team, All-area 1st team along with being a senior all-star her senior year. Both her junior and senior year at Harrison, Mahayag along with her team won the AVCA Team Academic Award. She won defensive player of the year her junior year along with setting a school record with 511 digs in a single season. While Mahayag was at Harrison they won the Area Championships and made it to the elite eight both her junior and senior year.
Mahayag has played club volleyball for seven years with A5 Volleyball Club, one of the most prestigious volleyball clubs in the nation. While playing for A5, Mahayag has attended the USAV Nationals every year since she was 14-years-old. During this past club season, Mahayag helped her team (A5 17-1 Jing) to a Bronze Medal at the AAU Nationals (17-Open), and a Silver Medal at the USAV Nationals (17-Open). These national tournaments represent the highest level of club volleyball available.

Jocelyn was born in Atlanta,GA. She is the daughter of Rob and Patty Mahayag and has two sisters, Jossette and Jaylen. Undecided on major.
