Had her best year in her final season, amassing 500 digs which is fourth-most for a single season in GSU history… Her average of 4.90 digs per set ranks second in school history… Serafin tallied 20 or more digs 13 times in 2015 and was one of only two Panthers to play in all 102 sets… Was named Sun Belt Defensive Student-Athlete of the Week on Oct. 26 after back-to-back 30-dig performances… Recorded her 1,000th career dig on Oct. 7 vs. Georgia Southern and moved all the way to seventh in GSU’s record book with 1,221 career digs… She averaged 3.10 digs per set over her career which is 10th-best in school history.
2014
Started at Libero for Georgia State in her junior year … Led team on defense with 340 digs, averaging 3.54 a set … Was consistent in the passing game during conference play, helping fuel the Panther offense … Set a season-high in digs with 26 in the Panthers’ 3-1 win over rival Georgia Southern on Oct. 8 … Tallied 23 digs against UT Arlington in a 2-3 loss on Oct. 31 … Posted double-digit digs 19 times … Missed four matches due to injury.
2013
Played in all of Georgia State’s 32 matches ... Recorded 12 service aces ... Fourth on the team with 223 digs ... Picked up double-digit digs in seven matches ... Also had 19 assists ... Had a season-high 14 digs against Western Kentucky on Nov. 13.
2012
Played in all 24 of Georgia State’s matches in 2012 ... Recorded six service aces ... Totaled 158 digs, fourth best on the team ... Had a season-high 13 digs against South Alabama.
Prep
Helped lead Loudoun County High School to back-to-back Virginia state high school championships in 2009 and 2010 ... Helped lead Loudoun County to a second-place finish in the state championships in 2011 ... Played with the Virginia Elite club team ... AVCA 2011-12 Under Armor Girl’s High School All-American Team honorable mention and watch list ... Three-time all-state selection ...
