Comes to State after two seasons playing for Kurt Palmer at Phoenix College in Phoenix, Ariz...The left-handed pitcher made 11 appearances on the mound in 2010, compiling a 4-2 record and a 3.47 ERA in 46.2 innings pitched, while striking out 39 and walking just 12...His top performance of the year came against Illinois-Central, throwing seven innings, striking out nine, while allowing just two hits and not earned runs for the victory...Earned first team academic all-conference honors, as well as distinguished academic all-american honors.

Finished his career at Cactus Shadows High School with a 12-5 record on the mound, while also seeing time at first base...Earned academic all-region honors in 2008 and helped his team to the state championship in 2006...Pitched a complete game shutout at Bradshaw Mountain High School, allowing just one hit, one walk and striking out 11 for the win.
