Struck out 34 batters and walked 16, holding opponents to just a .230 average at the plate... Picked up win in his first career start against Mercer April 5 with three strikeouts over five innings... Struck out 11 batters over six innings in next start against Alabama State April 13, the most by any Panther in a single game all year... Also threw 3.1 innings against Western Illinois, fanning five.
