2011: Made seven appearances on the mound in his first season in action at GSU... Held opponents to .190 average in 6.1 innings of work, striking out five and walking only one... Did not record a decision in compiling 4.29 ERA... Appeared in two of GSU’s school-record seven team shutouts... Struck out two batters in one inning of work against Big Ten foe Iowa March 4... HIGH SCHOOL: Played for Bubba Wilson and Ryan Hanik at Peachtree Ridge HS, earning Georgia Top 100 honors as well as Pitcher of the Year honors for the Lions...Opened his senior season with a perfect game and during that same year, threw four complete games in a row for a total of five on the season...Led Gwinnett County in strikeouts during his senior season...Graduated with honors as a scholar-athlete.
