Went 3.0 innings twice in conference play, against Towson March 13 and VCU March 25... Struck out four against Tigers and three against Rams... Also struck out three against Alabama State April 13.
2010
Spent the second-half of the season as one of the Panthers top options out of the bullpen, making 19 appearances, tied for second most on the team...Turned season around with 4.1 innings pitched of one-hit relief against Mercer on April 13th, earning the first of two wins in one week...Followed with 3.0 innings of one-hit relief against Air Force on April 17th, earning the win...Struck out seven and allowed just two hits in his first career start against Alabama State on March 23rd, going 4.0 innings of a seven-inning game...Pitched 2.1 innings of relief in the Panthers CAA Championship opening game against VCU, striking out two...Finished the season with a 5-4 record and 5.45 ERA, striking out 42 in just 34.2 innings pitched.
2008-2009
Played two seasons at Andrew College in Cuthbert, Ga., earning four wins in 16 appearances, including 10 starts during his second year...Finished the season with 64.2 innings pitched, striking out 48 and holding opponents to a .258 batting average.
Prep
Earned four varsity letters in baseball for the Gordon Central High School Warriors, earning team MVP honors after his senior year...Went 4-0 his freshman year with a 2.87 ERA, including a 12-strikeout performance in his first-ever game...Went 2-1 with a 3.14 ERA his sophomore year and followed with a 2-2 mark and 3.82 ERA during his junior year...Threw a no-hitter during his senior year with 15 strikeouts as he went 6-4 with a 3.31 ERA during his final season, leading the school to its first-ever playoff appearance and an 18-12 record.
