Biography
AT GEORGIA STATE:
Finished his four-year career playing in 117 games, the sixth most in school history . . . Blocked 132 shots, the second most in school history which included 70 blocked shots his senior year, the third most in a single season.
Averaged 3.3 points and 3.1 rebounds, making 28 starts and shooting 51.3 percent from the floor in his career.
2012-13:
Earned CAA All-Defensive Team honors to cap the best year of his four-year GSU career . . . Finished the season with 70 blocked shots, third most in school history and a 2.3 blocked shots per game average which ranked second in the CAA and 39th in the NCAA . . . In his first start of the season against Monmouth (11/19), blocked a school-record tying nine shots and grabbed eight rebounds in the Panthers home opener . . . Also recorded eight blocked shots against James Madison (1/5) and had a six-block game against Towson (2/9) . . . Set a career-high which was later tied with 12 rebounds against Southern Poly (12/8) and against Old Dominion (1/19) . . . Scored a season-high 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds at James Madison (2/23) . . . Just missed a double-double with 10 points and nine rebounds at Troy (12/15) . . . Came up just shy of another double-double with 11 points, nine rebounds and five blocked shots at Georgia Southern (12/29) . . . Scored 11 points on a perfect 5-of-5 shooting against Hofstra (2/13).
2011-12:
Playing in 32 games off the bench, scored 3.2 points and pulled down 2.0 rebounds per game, shooting 54.8 percent from the floor . . . Nearly doubled his production from the free throw line, shooting 75.9 percent . . . Finished with a career-high 18 points on 7-of-7 shooting and 4-of-4 free throws against Towson, the third straight game he set a career-high in points against the Tigers . . . Opened the CAA Championship with eight points and four rebounds in just 14 minutes against Hofstra . . . Finished with eight points and 10 rebounds in the home opener against McNeese State . . . Played a season-high 18 minutes against Delaware, scoring six points and grabbing four rebounds.
2010-11:
Finished eighth in the CAA with 1.3 blocks per game, helping the team to a school record 148 blocked shots.
Earned first double-double with 11 points and a career-high 11 rebounds at Old Dominion (2/15), coming off the bench to play a career-high 33 minutes . . . Scored 12 points on 6-of-10 shooting against Towson (2/5) while pulling down seven rebounds and setting a career-high with five blocked shots . . . In first match-up with Towson (1/5) scored 11 points on 5-of-5 shooting, while pulling down seven rebounds in first start of the season.
Averaged 3.0 points and 3.1 rebounds per game, playing in 28 games and making three starts . . . Scored in double figures three times and pulled down at least five rebounds on 10 occassions, including a stretch of six straight games late in the season.
2009-10:
Gained valuable experience in limited playing time, which increased as the season went on . . . Missed all of preseason practice with a foot injury, which slowed his progress.
Averaged 2.0 points and 2.3 rebounds . . . Also had 12 blocked shots . . . Scored a season-high 10 points in 17 minutes vs. VCU (1/16) . . . Pulled down a season-high nine rebounds in just 11 minutes at Hofstra (2/27); also had three points and two assists
Missed two games due to illness, then returned vs. Old Dominion (1/28) with two points, three rebounds, one block and one steal in 18 minutes . . . Added six points and two boards at VCU (1/30) . . . Had six points and seven rebounds against George Mason
Contributed four points, six rebounds and three blocked shots in win over James Madison (2/16) . . . Added five points against South Carolina State (2/20) . . . Saw significant action at Florida State and collected four points, seven rebounds and a blocked shot in 19 minutes . . . Had four points and two rebounds versus Carver.
