Panthers Look to Keep the Success Rolling at Wofford

ATLANTA -- The Panthers hit the road to Spartanburg, S.C. to face the Wofford Terriers at 2:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, Sept.12.

Georgia State enters the match up undefeated at 5-0-1 following a 1-0 victory over Mercer on Wednesday night. The Panthers will look to continue their strong start to the season and earn another road victory against the Terriers.
 
SERIES HISTORY
Georgia State and Wofford will meet for the 10th time on Saturday. The Panthers hold an all-time record of 5-3-1 record against the Terriers.

The teams last met on Sept. 23, 2025, playing to a 1-1 draw in Atlanta. Georgia State will look to earn its sixth victory in the series and return to the win column against Wofford.
 
SCOUTING THE TERRIERS
Wofford enters Saturday's match up with a 3-1-1 record on the season. The Terriers are led by Head Coach Ryan Osborne in his second season as they look to defend their home field against the Panthers.

The Terriers enter the match after going 0-1 to UNC Asheville on Sept. 8.
 
PANTHERS STAY UNDEFEATED
The Panthers continued their undefeated season Wednesday night with a 1-0 shutout victory over Mercer.

Georgia State broke through in the 37th minute when Virgil Dall'Agnol scored the game's lone goal on an unassisted finish. The Panthers' defense held strong for the remainder of the match, keeping the Bears off the scoreboard.

Jackson Burrell anchored the Panthers in goal, recording nine saves on 16 Mercer shots to earn his third clean sheet of the season.
Georgia State is ranked first in the Sun Belt in saves per game and second in shutout percentage.
