ATLANTA — Georgia State men's and women's soccer have both earned the United Soccer Coaches College Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 academic year, the organization announced Friday.

The award recognizes collegiate soccer programs for exemplary performance in the classroom. To qualify, a team must post a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the academic year.

Georgia State women's soccer earned the honor after posting an impressive 3.61 team GPA, while the men's soccer program recorded a 3.45 team GPA during the 2025-26 academic year.

The Panthers were among 777 collegiate soccer teams nationwide to receive the honor, including 326 men's programs and 451 women's programs. Georgia State was also one of just 175 institutions to have both its men's and women's soccer programs recognized.

The academic honors continue Georgia State Athletics' commitment to excellence in the classroom while highlighting the dedication of Panther student-athletes to success both academically and athletically.
