Georgia State Announces 2026 Football Promotional Schedule

ATLANTA — Georgia State Athletics has unveiled its 2026 football promotional schedule, featuring six themed home games packed with unique fan experiences, special giveaways and can't-miss traditions at Center Parc Credit Union Stadium. 

From celebrating Atlanta's Olympic legacy to Halloween festivities, Family Weekend and the return of the State Not Southern rivalry, every home game offers fans something special throughout the season. 

Friday, Sept. 4 vs. North Carolina A&T – #FanFromDay1 
First-year Georgia State students are invited to take the field and join the Panthers during the team's pregame runout, creating an unforgettable start to their college experience. First year students interested in joining the runout can sign up here.  

Georgia State will also reintroduce Friday Night Fireworks, featuring the largest fireworks display in Atlanta. The celebration nods to a beloved Atlanta Braves tradition during their time playing at the stadium, when fans would stick around after Friday games for a fireworks spectacular. 

Saturday, Sept. 26 vs. Northern Illinois – Family Weekend & Throwback to '96 
Bring the whole family to Center Parc Credit Union Stadium for a weekend celebrating Panther traditions and the Georgia State community. Fans are encouraged to dress in their best 90s attire.   

Fans can trade in the past for the future during the Throwback to '96 merchandise swap. The first 200 fans who bring an item featuring a retired Georgia State logo, whether it's a T-shirt, sweatshirt, hat or other apparel, will receive a brand-new Georgia State T-shirt. 

Pounce's Kids Club members can also experience game day like never before by joining the team for the pregame runout. Members should watch their email for additional details. Fans interested in joining Pounce's Kids Club can sign up online, and will be added to the email list to RSVP for the run out. 

Saturday, Oct. 3 vs. Old Dominion – Homecoming 
One of the biggest weekends of the year returns to Atlanta as Georgia State welcomes alumni, students and fans back to campus for Homecoming. 

With special events taking place throughout the weekend and an electric atmosphere inside Center Parc Credit Union Stadium, Homecoming is a tradition you won't want to miss. 

Saturday, Oct. 31 vs. Coastal Carolina – Boo & Brew 
Celebrate Halloween with the Panthers during Boo & Brew. 

Fans are encouraged to wear black and help create a blackout atmosphere inside the stadium.  young Panthers dressed in Halloween costumes will get into the game for free. 

Saturday, Nov. 14 vs. Georgia Southern – Red, White & Light It Blue/ Heroes Day 
The rivalry is back. 

Georgia State hosts Georgia Southern for the 3rd annual Georgia Grown Bowl, the State Not Southern showdown and one of the most anticipated games on the Panthers' schedule. During the rivalry, Georgia State will also honor military and first responders.  

Fans are encouraged to wear blue and help create a stadium-wide "Light It Blue" atmosphere as Panther Nation comes together for one of the biggest home games of the season. 

Saturday, Nov. 28 vs. Louisiana – Giveback Game & Senior Day 
Help make a difference while cheering on the Panthers in the regular-season finale. 

Georgia State will honor its senior class before kickoff while celebrating the spirit of giving during the Giveback Game. Fans who donate a canned food item or a new, unwrapped toy at the Center Parc Credit Union Stadium box office will receive free admission to the game, with all donations benefiting those in need throughout the Atlanta community.
