Two Sandy Panther Pairs Earn Sun Belt Conference Recognition

ATLANTA — Georgia State beach volleyball pairs Savannah Ebarb and Bella Troncale, along with Michaela Jefferson and Danica Singleton, have earned All-Sun Belt honors, the conference announced Wednesday evening.

Ebarb and Troncale were neamed to the All-Sun Belt First Team, whicle Jefferson and Singleton were named to the All-Sun Belt Second Team. 

Ebarb and Troncale, competing primarily at the No. 1 flight, posted an 18-17 overall record during the 2026 season. The duo went 4-1 in Sun Belt play, highlighted by wins over Coastal Carolina (23-21, 24-22), ULM (21-11, 21-9), College of Charleston (21-15, 21-9) and Mercer (21-17, 21-19).

The pair showed consistency throughout the year, winning 14 of their 18 matches in straight sets. They capped the season with a victory over No. 14 Stetson. Ebarb reached a milestone with her 50th career win, while freshman Troncale led the team in total victories.

Singleton and Jefferson also delivered a strong campaign, finishing 14-10 overall while competing primarily at the No. 2 flight. The tandem went 13-9 in flight two and added a 1-1 mark in flight three.

They matched their teammates with a 4-1 record in conference play, earning wins over UNCW (22-20, 16-21, 15-8), ULM (21-10, 21-10), College of Charleston (21-19, 21-13) and Mercer (21-12, 21-9). Like Ebarb and Troncale, Singleton and Jefferson closed the season with a win over No. 14 Stetson.
