2026: 2026 NCAA Elite Champion recipient, awarded to the student-athlete at the NCAA Championship tournament who has the highest GPA... 2026 Sun Belt Elite recipient, given to the student-athlete playing in the SBC Championship Match with the highest GPA...  Saw action in all 40 matches for the Sandy Panthers and finished 21-19  on the season, playing primarily in flight 2…Also saw action in flights 3 and 4...  Played 11 matches and collected four win with Ellie Neville before pairing with Danica Singleton for the remainder of the season... Finished 17-12 with Singleton, finishing 16-11 at flight 2 and 1-1 at flight 3… Went 3-1 at the Sun Belt Championship Tournament with wins over Mercer (April 23), Southern Miss (April 23) and Coastal Carolina (April 25) help the Sandy Panthers to its fourth-consecutive Sun Belt title... Finished 4-1 in conference play, with wins against UNCW (22-20, 16-21, 15-8), ULM (21-10, 21-10), Charleson (21-19, 21-13) at the Sun Belt Midseason (March 27-28), as well as against  Mercer (21-12, 21-9) at GSU Diggin' Duals (April 17).… Finished the season with a ranked win over No.14 Stetson in a straight set. 


2025: Participated in all of GSU's duals…Recorded a 25-13 performance competing in flights 3, 4, and 5…Registered the second most individual wins on the team…Partnered with Danica Singleton, Courtney Smith, Kate Phelan, and Aliisa Vuorinen…Found success with Singleton earning 24 wins as a pair… Tied for most wins by a pair on the team alongside Singleton… Defeated four ranked opponents in No. 7 Florida State, No. 16 Florida Atlantic, No. 14 Washington, and No. 14 Stetson…Named Sun Belt Conference Pair of the Week after going undefeated at the Sun Belt Mid-Season Tournament…Registered an 11-1 record in Sun Belt action during the season…Named Second Team All-Sun Belt…Named an AVCA Top Flight Awardee for performance in fourth flight…Helped the Sandy Panthers to a third consecutive Sun Belt Conference Title…Helped GSU to a fourth consecutive NCAA Championship berth in a season that saw the team ranked top-20 or better nationally each week
 
2024: Jefferson finished the 2024 spring season with a 9-7 record with appearances at the fourth, and fifth flights... Michaela was most often paired with Aliisa Vuorinen the pairing went 8-6 and finished 3-0 in Sun Belt Play… Downed four ranked opponents throughout the season, including #7 Long Beach State and #13 Hawaii…Helped the Sandy Panthers to a second consecutive Sun Belt Conference Championship Title… Helped GSU to a third consecutive NCAA Championship berth in a season that saw the team ranked top-16 or better nationally for every week…

HIGH SCHOOL: Joined the Sandy Panthers' roster for fall 2023… From Vancouver, British Columbia. ... Attended the University of British Columbia for her first year of university before transferring to Georgia State University…Played for SideOut Beach Volleyball Club, U21 Team BC, and The BeachCo… 3x BC Provincial Champion.
