In the 5-2 series-opening win over Arkansas State, Caruso earned his first win of the week with 2.0 shutout innings out of the bullpen. He finished the week with another win in the 9-5 series-clinching victory, throwing 4.1 innings in relief and allowing just one hit while striking out five and not allowing a run. Caruso did not allow a run across his three outings this week, helping Georgia State secure a 3-1 week.
