ATLANTA, GA – Georgia State Men's Tennis dropped their first match against a Sun Belt opponent on Saturday, falling 4-0 at the hands of visiting Troy.
The doubles duo of
Gustav Andersson and
Sota Minami continued their strong season playing from the third line on Saturday, making quick work of their counterparts from Troy, 6-1. The Trojans bounced back, winning court two and making court one a tiebreaker.
Cem Atlamis and
Aryan Jit Singh battled in their first actions as partners, but could not overcome their first line opponents, dropping the set and the opening point.
The Trojans wasted no time in singles play, ripping off straight-set wins on courts two, three, and five to secure the 4-0 victory over the Panthers.
