Virgil Dall'Agnol

Men's Soccer Senior Spotlight - Virgil Dall'Agnol

ATLANTA, Ga. – After two impactful seasons, veteran midfielder Virgil Dall'Agnol is set to take his final bow with the program upon graduating at the end of the year.

Dall'Agnol transferred to Georgia State after playing two seasons at Seton Hall. His decision to transfer to GSU was influenced by the opportunity to live and study in Atlanta and learn more about the program through former captain Tom Fillaudeau, whom he knew from France.

For Virgil, his time at Georgia State has been defined by growth, leadership and a deep appreciation for the soccer program he calls family.

Virgil is part of the 2026 leadership team, contributing to the Panthers effort to build a new foundation with 15 new players. Helping to lead this new group has been one of his biggest accomplishments throughout his time at GSU. He is especially proud of the strong mentality the group established from day one and its strong start to the season, which began with a 5-0-1 record.

Dall'Agnol appreciates the connection he has been able to build with the coaching staff. He credits them with consistently providing trust, confidence and guidance both on and off the field and looks forward to continuing that relationship after his time is done at Georgia State.

AFTER GSU

Preparing to graduate with a degree in economics, Dall'Agnol is exploring multiple paths for his future. His primary goal is to return to playing professional soccer, previously playing for Grenoble and Tours Football Club in France as well as professional teams in the United States, Loudoun United and Fort Wayne. He is also pursuing opportunities in wealth management.

Wherever his post-graduation journey takes him, Dall'Agnol plans to stay connected and help guide incoming athletes while giving back to the program that shaped him.
