ATLANTA-- Georgia State men's basketball is slated to host Northern Illinois on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 2:00 p.m. for game two of the 2025-26 SBC-MAC Challenge, the conferences announced Tuesday afternoon. 

Since staring the SBC-MAC Challenge during the 2023-24 season, Georgia State is 4-1 in the challenge. The Panthers wen undefested in the first two seasons before falling 71-49 to Eastern Michigan on the road earlier this season. 

the Panthers face the huskies for the second time in program history, and the second time on home court. Georgia State looks for its first win over NIU after falling 70-64 at home in the GSU Capitol Challenge on Nov. 17, 2023. 

The MAC-SBC Challenge was created through the collaborative efforts of each conference's strategic planning committee. Matchups are determined based on NET rankings, geographic considerations, and previous meetings. 

All MAC-SBC Challenge games will be carried on ESPN+.
