Women’s Basketball Drops Full 2025-26 Schedule

ATLANTA – Seventh-year head coach Gene Hill announced the full 2025-26 schedule for Georgia State women's basketball on Monday. 

The Panthers will host 16 games inside the GSU Convocation Center as part of a 32-game slate featuring two exhibition contests, three Power Four matchups, and a full 19-game Sun Belt Conference schedule. 

Georgia State opens the year with back-to-back exhibitions, hosting Mercer on Oct. 18 before traveling to Georgia Tech on Oct. 25. The official season tips off at home against Oglethorpe on Nov. 3. 

The Panthers' non-conference slate features several notable road challenges, including trips to Mississippi State (Nov. 7), Wofford (Nov. 11), Furman (Nov. 13) and Auburn (Nov. 17). Georgia State will also compete in a three-day home Thanksgiving tournament beginning Nov. 24, hosting Stony Brook, Samford, and Central Arkansas across six games at the Convocation Center. 

Road tests continue into December with a swing to Florida to face FIU (Dec. 5) and Miami (Dec. 7) before the Panthers return to Atlanta for matchups against Kennesaw State (Dec. 14) and LaGrange (Dec. 28).  

Sun Belt play will officially begin in mid-December with road contests at Georgia Southern (Dec. 18) and Coastal Carolina (Dec. 20). 

After the holidays, the Panthers return to Sun Belt action on the road against James Madison. (Jan. 1) and Old Dominion (Jan. 3) before returning home for a key three-game homestand against JMU (Jan. 10), Georgia Southern (Jan. 14) and Appalachian State (Jan. 17). The road slate picks back up with trips to South Alabama (Jan. 22) and Troy (Jan. 24), followed by February visits to ULM (Feb. 4), Marshall (Feb. 12) and Appalachian State (Feb. 14). 

Conference play continues with alternating road and home weekends through February, highlighted by home matchups against Arkansas State (Jan. 29), Texas State (Jan. 31), Old Dominion (Feb. 19), Marshall (Feb. 21), Coastal Carolina (Feb. 24) and Louisiana (Feb. 27). 

The Sun Belt Conference Championship is set for March 2026 in Pensacola, Fla.
