ATLANTA – Georgia State women's basketball has announced its 2025-26 Sun Belt Conference schedule, as released by the league office Thursday afternoon.
Led by head coach Gene Hill, the Panthers open Sun Belt action on the road with four straight games. The first home matchup inside the GSU Convocation Center is set for Jan. 10.
The conference journey begins Thursday, Dec. 18 in Statesboro against Georgia Southern and continues Saturday, Dec. 20 with a trip to Coastal Carolina. Georgia State resumes play after the holidays with contests at James Madison (Jan. 1) and Old Dominion (Jan. 3).
GSU opens its home conference schedule Saturday, Jan. 10 against James Madison before hosting Georgia Southern on Wednesday, Jan. 14 in a highly anticipated in-state rivalry rematch. Appalachian State then visits Atlanta on Saturday, Jan. 17.
A two-game road swing to Alabama follows, beginning Thursday, Jan. 22 at South Alabama and continuing Saturday, Jan. 24 at Troy.
The Panthers return to their home court for a two-game stretch against Arkansas State (Jan. 29) and Texas State (Jan. 31) to close out the month.
February begins with another road swing to ULM on Wednesday, Feb. 4, followed by a visit to Marshall on Thursday, Feb. 12. GSU then heads to Boone for a second matchup against App State on Saturday, Feb. 14.
The Panthers close the regular season with four games at home. Old Dominion comes to Atlanta on Thursday, Feb. 19, followed by a rematch with Marshall on Saturday, Feb. 21. Georgia State hosts Coastal Carolina on Tuesday, Feb. 24 before wrapping up the regular season on Friday, Feb. 27 at home against Louisiana.
