Court Volleyball Unveils 2025 Schedule

ATLANTA – Georgia State volleyball has announced its 2025 schedule led by Head Coach Flavia Siqueira, who enters her second season with the Panthers. 

The GSU Sports Arena will host 14 home matches, including two non-conference tournaments. The 28-match slate features two Power Four matchups and five non-conference tournaments. 

The Panthers will open the season with an exhibition match in Athens, Ga., against the Georgia Bulldogs (Aug. 23). The non-conference schedule continues with back-to-back GSU Invitationals. In weekend one, the Panthers will host Presbyterian (Aug. 29), West Georgia (Aug. 29) and Furman (Aug. 30). The following weekend, Queens (Sept. 5), Florida A&M (Sept. 5) and Evansville (Sept. 6) will travel to the GSU Sports Arena for weekend two of the invitational. 

Georgia State will head to the Sunshine State for the FAMU Invitational and ACC/SBC Challenge beginning Sept. 12. The Panthers kick off their stay in Tallahassee, Fla., with matchups against FAMU (Sept. 12) and McNeese State (Sept. 13). Georgia State will then face FSU in the ACC/SBC Challenge on Sept. 15. 

The non-conference schedule concludes with a trip to Houston, Texas, for the SHSU Classic, featuring matchups against Sam Houston (Sept. 19) and Houston Christian (Sept. 20).  

Sun Belt play commences with a home opener against Arkansas State on Sept. 26-27. The slate continues with alternating weekend road matches against JMU (Oct. 3-4), Old Dominion (Oct. 17-18), Appalachian State (Oct. 31-Nov. 1) and ULM (Nov. 13-14).  

On the other weekends, the Panthers will stay in Atlanta to host Coastal Carolina (Oct. 9-10), Marshall (Oct. 24-25) and rivals Georgia Southern (Nov. 7-8).  

The Sun Belt Conference Championship is set for Nov. 20-25 in Foley, Ala., and will feature the top five schools from both East and West divisions.
