STATESBORO, Ga -- Darkness stops game three of the series, as the Panthers fall 3-2 to the Eagles on Saturday.
Sophomore Makayla Stephens (3-7) started and took the loss in the circle for Georgia State (10-26, 2-7).
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Panthers were trailing 2-0 in the fifth inning when they first put runs on the board. Sophomore Jordan Rayner's triple off of junior Charla Clifton plated two for Georgia State. Georgia Southern then scored one time over the remaining one inning to break the tie and grab the 3-2 win.
