STATESBORO, Ga. --The Georgia State Panthers dropped game one 0-2 at Georgia Southern on Friday.
Sophomore Makayla Stephens (3-6) got the ball to start for Georgia State (10-24, 2-5) and took the loss. Senior Kate Kastelic was a bright spot for the Panthers, coming out of the bullpen and throwing three scoreless innings, allowing two hits, with no walks and one strikeout.
Offensively, the Panthers were led by sophomore Jordan Rayner, who went 2-for-3 on the day.
