ATLANTA — Georgia State baseball and Head Coach Brad Stromdahl have unveiled the 2026 schedule, highlighted by a challenging slate that includes SEC and ACC opponents, as well as a Sun Belt Conference campaign featuring last season's national runner-up, Coastal Carolina. The Panthers will host 31 games in Atlanta during the upcoming season.
Georgia State opens the year with a three-game home series against New Orleans Feb. 13–15 at the GSU Baseball Complex before hitting the road for two straight contests, with trips to Jacksonville State and Mercer the following week. The Panthers return home Feb. 20–22 for a series with Bellarmine.
The early nonconference slate features familiar regional opponents, including road games at Georgia Tech on Feb. 24 and a return matchup on March 3. The Panthers will also take on Belmont for a four-game road series Feb. 27–March 1 and host Charleston Southern for three games March 6–8. Additional midweek contests include Mercer (March 10), West Georgia (March 17), Alabama State (March 24), and Wofford (April 7).
Sun Belt Conference play begins March 13–15 with a road trip to Marshall, followed by back-to-back home league series against Arkansas State (March 20–22) and Texas State (March 27–29). The conference schedule also includes a home set with James Madison on April 10–12 and a three-game series against Old Dominion on April 24–26.
A key road test awaits April 17–19 when Georgia State travels to Coastal Carolina. The Chanticleers enter 2026 as the national runner-up, marking one of the most competitive conference matchups on the Panthers' slate. Additional Sun Belt road series include trips to ULM (April 2–4), Louisiana (May 1–3), and a late-season rivalry matchup at Georgia Southern (May 8–10).
Georgia State will also face several in-state opponents throughout the spring, including a road game at Georgia on March 31, a visit to West Georgia on April 14, and Kennesaw State (May 5).
The Panthers close the regular season with a home conference matchup against App State May 14–16 before heading to Montgomery, Ala., for the 2026 Sun Belt Championship, set for May 19–24 at Riverwalk Stadium.
