ATLANTA-- After a two-game homestand, the Panthers hit the road for a six game, month-long road swing starting with Arizona State on Monday, Nov. 17 at 9:00 p.m. ET.
Georgia State clinched its first win of the season against Fort Valley State on Thursday, Nov. 13, after four players scored in double digits to lead the Panthers to a 90-56 victory.Â
Freshman Joah Chappelle scored the first double-double of the season for the Panthers after recording 16 points and 12 rebounds in the Panthers' win over Fort Valley State (Nov. 13).Â
Redshirt junior Jelani Hamilton earned 2025-26 Preseason All-Sun Belt honors after coming to Georgia State for the 2024-25 season and making an immediate impact. Returning home, Hamilton played in all 33 games and led the team with 38 total steals. He finished the 2024-25 season averaging 10.8 ppg and 3.5 rpg.Â
The Panthers return six from the previous season, including impact starters in Jelani Hamilton and Malachi Brown, and welcome nine newcomers (7 transfers, 2 freshmen) to the squad.Â

The Panthers will travel to South Dakota State to begin the 2025 Cancun Challenge in the States on Friday, Nov. 21 before heading to Cancun, Mexico to face Samford (Nov.25) and New Mexico State (Nov. 26).Â
