ATLANTA – The Georgia State women's basketball team (1-1, SBC 0-0) continue their four-game road stint to Spartanburg, S.C to square off against the Wofford Terriers (1-1, SoCon 0-0). The tipoff is set for Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 7 p.m., at Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium.

SERIES HISTORY
Georgia State and Wofford tipped off their brief history on December 6, 2002, in Atlanta, where the Panthers pulled out a one-point nailbiter to top the Terrier 59-58 in their inaugural clash. The two teams met again the following season on November 23, 2003, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, with Georgia State taking a 61-47 victory to sweep the short series. The Panthers lead the all-time matchup 2-0, with one win at home and one on the road. Georgia State's 14-point win in 2003 stands as the largest margin between the two teams, while the 2002 game remains the closest, decided by just a single point. Across the two meetings, Georgia State has outscored Wofford 120-105, averaging 60 points per game against the Terriers.

BETWEEN THE LINES
The Wofford Terriers enter Tuesday's matchup with a 1-1 record and are looking to rebound from a close setback. The season opened with a historic 126-65 home win over Converse, which is the most points ever scored in program history. The Terriers also set a single-quarter record by scoring 42 points in the first quarter. Wofford's momentum was slowed in their most recent outing, as they fell 81-73 on the road at High Point .

Last season, Wofford was one of the best free-throw shooting teams in the nation and led the SoCon, connecting on 77.3 percent from the line, which ranked 26th nationally. The Terriers enter the 2025-26 season projected to finish fourth in the conference, led by standout sophomore Molly Masingale, the team's leading returning scorer and SoCon All-Preseason Team selection.

Wofford is set to face two more Sun Belt opponents later in the season. They will travel to Boone to take on Appalachian State and will host Georgia Southern at Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium.
