Panthers Finish Seventh at Georgia Tech Invitational

FAIRBURN, Ga.—The Georgia State women's cross country team finished seventh overall at the Georgia Tech Invitational on Friday afternoon. 
 
Leading the pack was Destinee Frink, who clocked a 22:17.1 time to finish 23rd, marking a career-best 6k time. 
 
Senior Ana Cubillo finished second on the leaderboard with a 22:55.1 time to finish 32nd
 
MEET NOTES: 
Freshman London Cox ran a 24:14.3, marking a career-best 6k time. 
Freshman Anna Warren finished with a 24:21.3 time. 
Shannon Cook finished with a 24.36.3 time. 
Yolanda Brooks finished with a 24:46.4 time. 
Paxton Kirby finished with a 25:12.9 time. 
Charlotte Tooze finished with a 25:40.1 time. 
Zariah Jacobs finished with a 27:16.7 time. 
Sessen Mahari finished with a 29:54.8 time. 
 
The Panthers are set to compete in their final regular-season meet at USC-Upstate on Saturday, Oct. 18, before heading to the Sun Belt Conference Championship meet.
