JACKSONVILLE — The Panthers traveled to Jacksonville in search of a victory in their final game of the non-conference slate, but were met with a staunch Dolphins defense that kept them out of the net in a 2-0 loss on Tuesday night.
How It Happened
The Panthers tested the net early on, but were met with a barrage of three saves in under four minutes from Jacksonville keeper Christian Sekanina.
Loan Marin did some strong tending of his own, saving a pair of shots to send the teams into the halfitme break tied 0-0.
Marin saw an even heavier workload in the second half, saving six shots for a season-high of eight on the day. Jacksonville, however, broke the seal late, netting a pair of goals to drop the Panthers by a final score of 2-0.
