JONESBORO, AR. - After going 2-1 at the Tulane/UNO Tournament, Georgia State travels to Jonesboro to open conference play. The Panthers will face Arkansas State Friday Sept. 27 at 7:00 p.m. E.T. and Saturday Sept. 28 at 2:00 p.m. E.T.
Georgia State has won nine out of its last ten matches, almost doubling its wins from the previous season. Under the leadership of head coach Flavia Siqueria, the Panthers look to continue their come- back season as they begin conference play.
Georgia State and Arkansas State are meeting for the fourteenth time in program history. Arkansas State has taken ten of the thirteen games played, and Georgia State the remaining three. The Panthers fell to Arkansas State in their last meeting 1-3 on a neutral site.
The Panthers will be back at home on Firday Oct. 4 to take on James Madison at 6:00 p.m.Â
