McLean's Brace Leads Panthers to 2-0 Win, Surrency Sets All-Time Wins Record

SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- Justin McLean's two second-half goals powered Georgia State to a 2-0 road victory over Wofford on Tuesday, Sept. 17, at Snyder Field, setting a new program record for career wins by Head Coach Brett Surrency with 144. McLean found the back of the net in the 74th and 85th minutes, securing the Panthers' second consecutive victory.

How it Happened

Georgia State took a 1-0 lead in the 73rd minute when Justin McLean notched his second goal of the season, heading a beautifully delivered cross from Hideto Gondo past the keeper.

The Panthers sealed the win in the 84th minute when Justin McLean struck his third goal of the season. His powerful shot from well outside the box bent over the keeper's head and into the net, closing the scoring.
