ATLANTA, GA – Georgia State Athletics has partnered with Wild Leap to bring Panther fans the Golden Panther Blonde Ale, the first Georgia State-branded craft beer.
"The signature buffalo on our can represents a manifesting of goals and service to the community," Justin Ruth, Director of Off-Premises Sales and Business Development for Wild Leap, said. "It teaches us to be "all in" on the goals we set for ourselves. This partnership with Georgia State solidifies our mission to positively impact the communities that surround us."
With locations in Atlanta and LaGrange, Wild Leap produces some of the highest quality craft beverages in the country. Owned by Anthony Rodriguez and Rob Goldstein, Wild Leap was started in 2017 and named Best New Brewery of 2019 by USA Today's 10 Best Readers Choice Awards.
By opening their downtown Atlanta location just steps from Georgia State's campus, Wild Leap joins Georgia State in the revitalization efforts of the downtown area. This partnership is set to create a dynamic synergy between the university community and the brewing company.
The Golden Panther Blonde Ale is being produced in collaboration with Affinity Licensing, official licensing agency of Georgia State, and will be available for Panther fans to purchase at their local retailers, online at www.WildLeap.com, as well as at GSU home football games inside Center Parc Credit Union Stadium beginning this season.
"We are excited to partner with a local Georgia-based company like Wild Leap to bring Panther fans their very own craft beer," Georgia State Associate Athletic Director Brandon Kersey, who oversees licensing for Georgia State Athletics, said. "We are grateful for Wild Leap's willingness to partner with us on this, and I am looking forward to seeing this product at Panther athletic events for our fans to enjoy".
Golden Panther will be available for purchase starting August 19
