Panthers Conclude at NCAA Regionals

LEXINGTON, KY-- The Georgia State track and field team concluded its 2024 outdoor season at the NCAA Regionals on Thursday evening. 

Four Panthers represented Georgia State at the Regional meet including Maleah Heard, Keniya Walker, Kaliy Williams and Valissa Brown

After claiming the Sun Belt title in the 100-meter dash, junior Maleah Heard participated in the 100 and 200 meter runs at the Regional meet. Heard finished the first round of the meet with an 11.51 time in the 100-meter, followed by a 23.50 mark in the 200 meter event.

 Keniya Walker participated in the 400 meter event, finishing with a 55.12 mark. 

 Valissa Brown and Kayli Williams both participated in the 100-meter hurdles. Brown finished with a 13.46 mark, followed by Williams with a 13.55 time.
