ATLANTA-- Georgia State women's track & field competed at the App State Last Chance meet this Sunday in Boone, N.C.

Georgia State had three runners place in the 200-meter event.
Marissa Palmer led the way with a second-place finish running a personal best 23.09.
Laila Eiland finished seventh with a time of 24.01,
Justein Whyte rounded out the event for the Panther placing 11
th after running a 24.86.

Zyra Shivers records a top five finish in the 100-meter hurdles in back-to-back weekends with a second-place finish on Sunday running a 13.62.

Georgia State's relay teams remain a strength for the program earning a third-place finish in the 4 x 100 after recording a time of 45.29.

Lailah Palmer ran a personal best in the 100-meter Sunday with a time of 11.56 which was good enough for sixth in the event.

The list for NCAA Reginal Qualifiers will be released by the end of May.
