MOBILE, AL— The Georgia State track and field distance runners brought home a personal best time at the South Alabama Invitational in Mobile, Ala. on Sunday afternoon.
Ana Cubillo recorded a personal best 5:12.64 time in the one mile event to finish fifth overall.
Laure Kidukula also posted a top ten finish at the South Alabama Invitational, finishing seventh overall in the 800-meter race with a 2:20.02. time.
Menica Abaigar clocked a 5:18.51 time in the one mile race. Julia Dura finished in the event with a 5:26.70 time.
Kennedy Morris finished the 400-meter event with a 1:00.06 time. Morgan Manley followed directly behind with a 1:00.41 time.
Nyah Brown finished the triple jump with a 10.89-meter distance.
Kennedy Morris, Ana Cubillo, Laure Kidukula and Morgan Manley participated in the 4x400-meter relay, finishing 11th with a 4:04.28 time.
Julie Tonon finished with an 11:30.83 time in the 3000 meter event.
After taking one week off, the Panthers are slated to compete in the Sun Belt Indoor Championships Feb. 19-20.
