ATLANTA, GA -- Women's basketball standout Mya Williams is Center Parc Student-Athlete of the Week after leading the Panthers to a 74-49 win over rivals Georgia Southern on Saturday. 

Williams, the transfer from Hutchinson C.C., posted a game-high 19 points, three rebounds and three assists against the Eagles to lead the Panthers to a 2-0 sweep on the season series.

In Georgia State's win over Georgia Southern, Williams averaged 50-percent from the field and 71.4-percent from three-point range.   

The Waxahachie, Texas, native also made a huge impact in the Panthers' win over James Madison (Jan. 31), posting 11 points and leading GSU in three-pointers made. 

Williams and the Panthers look to extend its win streak against Arkansas State on Feb. 7 at 6:30 p.m. in the Convocation Center.
