Panthers Announce 2025 Schedule

ATLANTA-- Thirty-one home games, including dates against South Carolina, Georgia Tech and Georgia, highlight Georgia State's 2025 baseball schedule, announced today by head coach Brad Stromdahl

Stromdahl is entering his sixth season as the Panthers' head coach, coming off a a 25-win season in 2024. The Panthers recorded 13 Sun Belt Conference wins during the 2024 campaign. 

The Panthers are returning 12 players from the 2024 season, including outfielder Michael Maginnis, who hit .294 with 11 homers. Tha Panthers also return infielder Jessie Donahoe, who started 44 games in 2024. 

Opening day for the 2025 season is Friday, Feb. 14, when the Panthers host Belmont for a three-game weekend series at Panthersville. 


More on Georgia State's 2025 schedule: 

>The Panthers will face the Georgia Bulldogs twice on the season, as well as Georgia Tech and South Carolina once. 

> Georgia State will open conference against South Alabama at home on Friday, March 14 at 6:00 p.m. The Panthers will face 10 conference teams throughout the season in three-game series. 

>The Panthers will host Belmont, Kennesaw State, Georgia, Alabama A&M, Western Carolina, South Alabama, Alabama State, Georgia Southern, Jacksonville State, Coastal Carolina, West Georgia, Mercer, Louisiana, USC Upstate and Marshall. 

>For the fifth straight year, the Sun Belt Conference Championship will be played in Montgomery, Ala., at Riverwalk Stadium, home of the Double A Montgomery Biscuits.
