Stromdahl Announces 2025-26 Signing Class

ATLANTA-- Georgia State baseball has signed six talented student athletes to the 2025-26 roster, Georgia State head baseball coach Brad Stromdahl and his staff announced on Wednesday. 

"This class is another huge step forward our program as we work to build a program that will compete for Sun Belt, regional, super-regional and national championships," Stromdahl said. "The entire coaching staff –Lars Davis, Christian Castorri and Michael Leeder - have worked incredibly hard to put together one of the best recruiting classes in program history. This class will help usher in a new era of Georgia State baseball."


Meet the Panthers' fall signees:

YENLI NOLASCO
RHP | 6-3, 200 | R/R | Dallas, Ga. (North Paulding High School)

Tall right-hander from North Paulding High School who is ranked among the top 500 prospects in the nation by Perfect Game ... Features a low 90's fastball from a high 3/4 arm slot … Also has a low 80's slider that he tunnels nicely while filling up the strike zone with ease … Yenli will project to be in the starting rotation for his high school team during his senior season at North Paulding. 

Head Coach Brad Stromdahl says, "Yenli is a tough kid who works extremely hard on and off the diamond. He has the chance to have next-level pitchability which will translate the minute he steps on campus. We can't wait to see Yenli on campus to help contribute in the 2026 championship season."


WILMER MARTINEZ
SS | 5-11, 175 | S/R | Thomasville, NC. (Ledford High School)

Standout shortstop that will contribute immediately for the Panthers ... Rated among the top 500 players in the nation by Perfect Game and a top 50 player in the state of North Carolina by Perfect Game … 5-10 frame with lighting bat speed and soft hands on the infield … has the ability drive the ball out of the park to all fields … highly touted, athletic middle infielder with an unlimited ceiling.

"Wilmer comes to us as a very athletic infielder," Stromdahl said. "His style of play and competitiveness will make him a perfect fit for our program. Wilmer is a very strong and durable player with a tremendous work ethic." 


LANDON ARROYOS
SS | 6-0, 165 | R/R | Snellville, Ga. (Grayson High School)

Athletic shortstop that features a college ready glove ... Rated among the top 500 players in the nation by Perfect Game and a top player in the state of Georgia by Perfect Game … Defense-first oriented player that has the ability to find a home on the infield as a freshman … has exceptional baseball instincts combined with elite athleticism … selected as the pre-season 7A Georgia High School Player of the Year.

"The way Landon plays the game radiates throughout the field," Stromdahl said.  "He will fit into our program perfectly. He has a chance to get a lot of playing time as soon as he steps on campus. We can't wait to add Landon to the program."
 
NOAH JORDI
1B | 6-2, 195 | L/L | Canton, Ga. (Homeschool/IVSA Post Grad Academy)

Left-handed hitting first baseman from Canton, GA … Athletic left-handed hitter that features a college ready bat ... Rated among the top 500 players in the nation by Perfect Game and the number two first baseman in the state of Georgia by Perfect Game … Exceptional plate discipline and power to all fields that will help him earn playing time as a freshman … outstanding student that graduated high school one entire year early.
 "Noah is mature, low maintenance, smart, self-motivated and wants to learn," Stromdahl said. "He is very easy to coach and be around. Noah presents a lot of good tools offensively and impacts the baseball with his bat. He shows a good understanding for the game and uses his intelligence to anticipate well on the field. He has winning qualities as a player."
 
WESLEY BASS

Talented and physical outfielder that features many college ready tools ... Rated among the top 500 players in the nation by Perfect Game and a top player in the state of Georgia by Perfect Game … has elite bat speed and power to all fields that plays well into the Panther offense … outstanding speed and routes as an outfielder.
"Wesley is one of the nation's elite prep outfield prospects," Stromdahl said. "His athleticism and combination of speed and strength make him an immediate contributor for the Panthers."

COOPER LEWIS
LHP | 6-2, 210 | R/L | Atlanta, Ga. (Chamblee High School)

Tall left-hander from Chamblee High School ... Has a down-hill delivery and feel for three pitches ... Is ranked in the top 500 prospects in the country and top 50 in the state of Georgia by Perfect Game ... Features a low 90's fastball that he can run up to 95 when he reaches back, coupled with a low 80's sharp breaking ball … Cooper will project to be a top starter for his high school team during his senior season at Chamblee.

"Cooper brings some special attributes on the mound," Stromdahl said. "He has the chance to separate himself in our league, and we are excited for his future in our program."
