Panthers Back at Home for Final Regular Season Weekend

ATLANTA, GA. - After dropping two matches against Georgia Southern on the road, Georgia State is back home to take on ULMĀ  for the final regular season weekend. The Panthers will face the Warhawks Thursday, Nov. 14 at 6:00 p.m. and Friday, Nov. 15 at 6:00 p.m.Ā 

Georgia State has won four of their past eight conference matches.Ā The Panthers rank third in conference in team kills (1,287) and team service aces (154), and second in team assists (1,219).Ā Georgia State is one win away from winningest season since 2009.Ā Under the leadership of head coach Flavia Siqueria, the Panthers look to continue their comeback season as they continue conference play.Ā 

Georgia State and ULM are meeting for the sixteenth time in program history.Ā Georgia State has taken ten out of the fifteen matches against ULM.Ā The Panthers fell to ULM in their last meeting 2-3 on Nov. 2023.

Keionna Mackey leads the Panthers in kills, recording 307 on the season. Mackey has been a key addition to the Panthers' lineup, averaging 3.10 kills per set. She is currently ranked 118 in the nation and fifth in conference for total points (370.5). Mackey is ranked fourth in the conference for total service aces (34), and thirteenth in kills per set (3.10).Ā 

Graduate transfer Kaleigh Fitzgerald has served as the Panthers' libero, registering 378 digs on the season so far. Fitzgerald ranks seventh in the conference for total digs and ninth in digs per set, averaging 4.11.Ā 

Georgia State clinched a spot in the Sun Belt conference tournament and awaits a seed number.Ā
