HARRISONBURG, -- Georgia State fell 1-0 to James Madison on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at Sentara Park. The Panthers battled throughout the match, but a 23rd-minute goal by JMU's Ginny Lackey proved the difference. Georgia State goalkeeper Jaddah Foos made seven saves to keep the Panthers within reach, while Bree Barley led the attack with two shots on goal. Despite the loss, Callee Maughon tied the Georgia State all-time appearance record with her 88th career match, marking a significant milestone for the senior defender.

After the Dukes took a 0-0 lead into the half, Georgia St. kept James Madison off the scoreboard the remainder of the game. Jaddah Foos led Georgia St. with seven saves. The Panthers totaled two shots in the loss, two of them on goal. Georgia St. faced 15 James Madison shots, eight of them on goal.
