Panthers Travel to Huntington Coming off Weekend Sweep

HUNTINGTON, WV. - After taking two matches against Old Dominion at home, Georgia State travels to Huntington, WV. to take on Marshall. The Panthers will face the Thundering Herd Friday, Oct. 25 at 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 26 at 2:00 p.m.
 

Georgia State has won twelve out of its last eighteen matches, doubling its wins from the previous season. The Panthers rank first in conference in team kills and team assists, second in team service aces, and third in team digs. Under the leadership of head coach Flavia Siqueria, the Panthers look to continue their comeback season as they continue conference play.

Keionna Mackey leads the Panthers in kills, recording 238 on the season. Mackey has been a key addition to the Panthers' lineup, averaging 3.13 kills per set. She is currently ranked 111 in the nation and third in conference for total points. Mackey is ranked second in the conference for total aces, and fourth in total kills. Graduate transfer Kaleigh Fitzgerald has served as the Panthers' libero, registering 286 digs on the season so far. Fitzgerald ranks ninth in the conference and 103 in the nation in digs per set, averaging 4.14.
