CLEMSON, S.C. - Georgia State women's tennis fell at Clemson 7-0 in the season opener Sunday.
The Panthers dropped the douibles point with losses at the No. 1 and No. 3 flights. Freshman
Francesca Miglio and sophomore
Maria Paredes went unfinished in their match at No. 2 doubles, tied at 4-4.
In singles, Alba Retortillo fought through two sets keeping the score close, but ultimately fell 7-5, 7-6 at the No. 3 singles spot. Freshman
Sara Radojevic was able to take the opening set at the No. 5 spot, but ended up falling 6-2, 3-6, 1-6 in the third set.
Panthers look to bounce back next week as they play at Georgia Tech on Jan. 30 at 4 p.m.
