BIRMINGHAM, AL--Senior sprinter Blake Blakemore won the 300-meter dash and set a new school record for a 38.77 time at the UAB Vulcan Invite on Saturday. 
 
Blakemore is ranked 31 in the nation in the 300-meter event. 
 
Junior Kayli Williams finished third overall and set a new personal best 8.55 time in the 60-meter hurdles, which she previously set in December when she ran an 8.58 time. 
 
Freshman Gabrielle Key finished third in her first ever triple jump competition with a leap of 11.40m (37'05). 
 
Maleah Heard, Camarii Tellis, Jada McBean and Blake Blakemore set a program record 1:38.12 team time in the 4x200m relay.

The Georgia State Track and Field team will be back in action on Jan. 19 at 3:00 p.m.  as they travel to Columbia, S.C. to run at the Carolina Challenge.
