ATLANTA — Georgia State women's soccer saw defeat by a narrow 1-0 margin hosting SEC foe Ole Miss on Sunday at the GSU Soccer Complex.

The Panthers registered a total of nine shots with two on frame for Sunday's outing in Atlanta. Goalkeeper Jaddah Foos collected three saves on the day, while Aaliyah Faddoul, Olivia Cohen and Jimena Cabrero led the team in shooting with two each.

The lone goal of the match came in the 25' minute by Ole Miss. GSU falls to 3-1-2 on the season following the loss. 

The Panthers return to the pitch on Thursday, Sept. 7 for a crosstown road matchup at Kennesaw State. Match time is slated for 7 p.m. ET at Fifth Third Bank Stadium in Kennesaw, Ga.
