ATLANTA –The Georgia State softball team continues to be successful in the classroom with a 3.72 GPA for the Spring semester. This comes after the team posted a 3.93 Fall GPA for the 2022 semester.
 
Havalynn Abernathy, Emily Brown, Caroline Brownlee, Skylar Chavez, Elle Doolittle, Jaycee Goodwin, and Bailee Richardson led the way by making the President's List, Georgia State's highest academic distinction signifying a semester GPA of 4.0 or higher.

Ten individuals earned Dean's List status with a semester GPA of 3.5-3.99, and another student-athlete made the Athletic Director's Honor Roll with a 3.0 or higher.
 
The success of head coach Angie Nicholson's squad contributed to an outstanding performance by the Georgia State athletics department as a whole. The Panthers' department-wide GPA for the spring is 3.31, the second-highest semester GPA on record. The strong spring performance followed a 3.24 GPA last fall, giving the Panthers a 3.27 GPA for the 2022-23 academic year.
