Foos, Diaz Lead Road Win at Presbyterian

Clinton, S.C.— The Georgia State women's soccer team secured a victory, 1-0, at Presbyterian on Thursday as junior goalkeeper Jaddah Foos charted her 100th career save and helped earn the Panthers a fourth win on the season.

Junior midfielder Elena Diaz connected in the 69th minute and earned GSU the lead, 1-0. A third goal on the season for Diaz, the junior now ties teammate Maddie Johnston for a team high in goals.

Following a scoreless first half that saw GSU attempt seven shots, the Panthers (4-1-2) returned to play in the second period and charted eight shots while limiting the Blue Hose to four shots for the match. The Panthers' 15 shots included nine shots on goal.
