1 for the Books

ATLANTA -- Georgia State defender Jontrey Hunter is known as "Uno" to his teammates because he wears No. 1, and the senior outside linebacker definitely had "one" for the books against Coastal Carolina.

After grabbing a tipped ball for an interception, Hunter raced for the end zone for a 77-yard touchdown and the longest interception return in program history.

"Once I saw that green grass in front of me, my eyes lit up," Hunter said. "All I could think about was, Don't get caught!"

Hunter and the GSU defense face a unique challenge this week as Georgia State plays at Army and the Panthers must defend the triple option attack. Kickoff Saturday at Michie Stadium in West Point, N.Y., is at 12 noon, and the game will be nationally televised on CBS Sports Network.

Hunter, from Tampa, Fla., is the Panthers third-leading tackler on the season with 28 stops, including 4.5 tackles for loss. He had another big game against North Carolina with with 10 sacks, a fourth-down sack, a fumble recovery and a pass breakup.
