Cadarrius Thompson of football and
Elena Diaz of women's soccer have been named the P.A.S.S. Academic All-Stars for the month of September.
The P.A.S.S. Academic All-Star award is given out monthly to the top performing male and female student-athletes selected by the Panther Academic Support and Student-Athlete Development (P.A.S.S.) staff.
Whitney Vincenti and
Valana Wiltz of P.A.S.S. are inspired by Thompson's hard work. The duo had high remarks for the wide receiver, "CT continues to grow into everything we expect from our student-athletes in the classroom here at GSU. The sky is the limit as he continues to put his best foot forward and progresses to graduation."
Academic advisor
Bree Hicken states that, "Elena is doing a tremendous job of navigating a new city, school, and team in a busy Fall semester. Her academic dedication and focus in all of her courses is top notch."
Congratulations to these two outstanding student-athletes.Â
