Road Trip Continues at ULM Saturday

ATLANTA-Coming off a key Sun Belt Conference victory on Thursday night, the Georgia State men's basketball team will close out a road trip to Louisiana on Saturday afternoon at Fant-Ewing Coliseum facing ULM at 3 p.m. ET.

Georgia State (7-9, 1-4 Sun Belt) has had a great deal of success in the state of Louisiana since 2013 going a combined 18-8 in the state, including a 4-2 mark at ULM (10-11, 2-7 Sun Belt). The state was also the site of all three of the Panthers conference championships since 2015.

Since returning from injury, senior Eliel Nsoseme has been heating up while averaging 9.6 points and 9.4 rebounds per game. He recorded his first double-double of the season with 19 points and 15 rebounds against Coastal Carolina last Saturday. After 10 rebounds on Thursday night the senior has recorded double-digit rebounding efforts in the last three games.

Senior Corey Allen leads the Panthers averaging 14.7 points and 4.3 rebounds per game with a team-high 35 3-pointers. The All-Sun Belt Preseason First Team member is also tied for first on the team in steals and second on the team in assists.

Senior Kane Williams, who moved into fifth place on Georgia State's all-time scoring list earlier this month, is now the all-time wins leader, free throws made, and free throws attempted leader in program history. He is averaging 11.9 points and 4.1 rebounds per game.

Senior Justin Roberts is adding 12.3 points per game and shooting 77.5 percent from the free throw line. He scored the final four points against Louisiana on Thursday to secure the win. Along with Williams and Allen, he is one of three Panthers in the starting line-up with at least 1,000 points for his career.

Roberts and Allen are both now within 102 points of becoming the 24th and 25th 1,000-point career scorers in GSU program history. Both started their careers at other schools before transferring to GSU.
