CLEMSON, S.C. - Georgia State fell to ACC foe Clemson on Wednesday night, 0-3 (22-25, 16-25, 23-25), at Jervey Gymnasium in Clemson, S.C.

Although each set was tightly contested, the Panthers were unable to notch a set victory during the match. For the contest, Georgia State was led by Clara Bednarek who tallied seven kills while hitting a stellar .636.

The Panthers came out aggressive in set one, and jumped out to an early 4-1 lead, before Clemson responded with a 16-8 run of it's own to go up 17-12. Georgia State came back with a series of mini-runs but dropped the set, 22-25. The Panthers were led by Leah Wilcox in set one as she tallied four kills and three digs.

Set two was a back-and-forth affair until Clemson went on a 7-0 run late in the set to notch the set victory, 25-16. Meisheia Griffin tallied three kills in set two to lead the Panthers. Kaylee Martin of Clemson had a stand out performance in the set as she registered six kills while hitting .714.
