Richardson Homers in Loss to Ragin' Cajuns

ATLANTA -- Georgia State dropped the series finale to #16/17 Louisiana Saturday at the Bob Heck Softball Complex.

The Ragin' Cajuns used an eight-run fourth inning to defeat the Panthers 13-1 in five.

After Louisiana took a 3-0 lead, Bailee Richardson launched her fifth home run of the season to lead off the bottom of the second to put the Panthers on the board. 

The Ragin' Cajuns added two more in the third before their big fourth inning. 

Macy Banks pitched the final 1.2 innings for GSU, allowing no runs on one hit.

Georgia State stays at home and will host a doubleheader Wednesday vs. Mercer.
